Hey folks, I've been diving into some accounting software lately and realized QuickBooks is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to AI features. Zoho Books now has some AI stuff that can automate expense tracking and categorization, which I found super helpful for my small biz.
One thing I wish more AI in accounting did was automate audits or fraud detection more effectively.
Wave Accounting is free and surprisingly has AI features that automate a lot of the grunt work, perfect for freelancers.
Been loving how AI features predict cash flow trends in some newer tools. Makes budgeting way easier.

Plenty of AI tools integrate well with existing platforms, so you don’t have to switch completely away from QuickBooks but can augment it.
Kashoo is another option with some AI features that simplify small business accounting, especially for expense handling.
AI tools are awesome, but always good to double check their outputs just in case. Sometimes they miss nuances in accounting rules.
I use FreshBooks, the AI time tracking and invoicing features really streamline my freelance work.
