So, recently someone told me I was probs using ChatGPT for my work. Kinda threw me off, not gonna lie. Has anyone else had to deal with stuff like this? Feels weird being accused when you’re just doing your own thing, ya know? Would love to hear your stories or tips on handling this kinda situation.

For anyone feeling stuck, maybe also try openly talking about your experience with AI tools if you use them, honesty helps clear the air.
I’ve started keeping a mini journal of my process when I write stuff. Helps if I ever need to prove I’m not cheating.
Sometimes I think it’s a compliment? Like people think your work’s so good it must be AI-assisted lol.
Had a professor accuse me once during a paper review, but then I showed my notes and drafts and they backed off.
That’s rough! I've been there before and it feels like people don't trust your own skills anymore. It’s frustrating when folks jump to conclusions without proof.
I try to mix in my own life stories or examples so it’s obvious it’s coming from me, not some bot.
In my experience, when accused, just stay calm and explain your methods if you can. Getting defensive just makes it worse.
I had a friend accused once and it turned out they were just really good at writing fast. People still didn’t believe it lol.
I usually just ignore those accusations. Sometimes arguing just fuels the fire.
Someone actually said my work looked like ChatGPT because it was too well written lol, took me by surprise!
One time someone thought I used ChatGPT but I was actually referencing tons of notes and sources. Guess that’s the price of thoroughness!
It’s tricky because AI tools are improving fast, and people’s suspicion grows with that.
Honestly, I think this kinda stuff comes with the territory now that AI tools are everywhere. It’s hard for people to tell sometimes what's human and what's not.
I try to keep my writing style unique so it doesn’t sound like something AI would spit out. Has helped me avoid those accusations.
Honestly, I think some people just wanna find an excuse to doubt you, no matter what. Don’t let them get to you.
Some people just don’t get that AI is a tool, not a replacement for real creativity.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you wanna see how these AI things work behind the scenes. Might give you ideas on how to deal with these accusations.
It’s kinda sad that people are so quick to doubt actual talent because of AI fears.
