How to Share Photos While Chatting with ChatGPT

Would love to see a future where we can send sketches, photos, and even videos and get instant AI feedback.

Anyone tried third-party extensions or plugins to add photo capabilities to ChatGPT? Heard some might exist.

I guess image input requires a lot more processing and safety checks, so it’s understandable why it’s not live everywhere.

I think it’s only a matter of time before photo uploads become a standard part of ChatGPT or similar tools.

Would be great if future versions just let us drag and drop pics right into the chat like with messaging apps.

Honestly, I just screenshot stuff I want to share and then talk about it. Not perfect but it works sometimes.

Right now, the best you can do is use GPT-4 vision on platforms that support it, but it’s not the same as just adding photos in ChatGPT.

I tried uploading photos in ChatGPT interface but it just doesn’t support it. Guess gotta wait for official support.

I've seen some platforms with GPT integration that let you upload pics for analysis but those are separate apps, not ChatGPT itself.

For those asking, if you're using GPT-4 with vision capabilities, you can upload images in supported platforms, but general ChatGPT chat doesn't have that yet.

Sometimes I just upload photos in other apps and then copy the text output from GPT chat to keep everything synced.

One workaround is just describing what you want the AI to see in detail. Not as direct but sometimes gets the job done.

Just checked, ChatGPT doesn't support adding images directly in the chat interface. Guess it's text-only for now.

You can't really upload photos directly to ChatGPT chats yet. I usually just upload my pics somewhere else and share the link if needed.

I guess for now, we just gotta communicate stuff with words and hope the AI can imagine it right!

It's kinda surprising ChatGPT didn't add photo sharing yet. Most chats have it these days, you'd think AI chats would too.
