Hey folks, I've been curious about privacy stuff with ChatGPT. Do you think the chats we have are gonna be made public or shared somehow? Kinda worried about what info might get out there. Anyone got the lowdown on this?

I heard some companies might share aggregate data to improve AI but no personal chat logs are involved in that.
From what I heard, OpenAI uses chat data to train models but they anonymize everything. So no, it won't be public but might be stored.
Sometimes I wonder if any of our chats accidentally get leaked or end up in training data without us knowing.
Honestly, I’m more worried about hackers getting access to stored chats than them being made public by the company.
I seriously hope no one can just access our chats. That'd be a huge breach of privacy, right?
Hope this discussion helps others worried about their chat privacy, it’s good to talk about these things openly.
If privacy is a concern, maybe avoid sharing sensitive info in chats. Just a safe bet regardless of policies.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools related to AI, sometimes they mention data policies too, might be useful.
I think if your chat came up public, it would be a legal mess. They'd probably need your consent or something.
I've been digging around and there’s no official hint chats are going public anytime soon. Mostly for internal use.
I’m guessing with all the buzz about AI, companies will have to be extra careful about data privacy or risk big backlash.
Some folks say chats are encrypted but others say they’re just stored securely. Anyone know which?
