Hey everyone, I've been wondering if anyone has tried using ChatGPT to go through PDFs and get some insights out of them? Heard some people say it's quite handy, but not sure how well it works with different types of documents or if there're any tricks to get the best results. Would love to hear your experience or tips!

Yeah, I've been messing around with it a bit. It's pretty good at picking up text and summarizing, but sometimes formatting gets a little messy which can throw off the analysis.
Noticed that if the PDF is scanned or has handwritten notes, ChatGPT struggles a lot. OCR might be needed first for those.
