Hey folks, I've been wondering if ChatGPT can actually help analyze MRI scans. Like, can it understand and interpret those images, or is it just for text? Would love to hear what you all think or if there's any way to make it work for medical imaging stuff.

Honestly, if you have the MRI images, you might need to use a dedicated medical imaging AI, then feed the findings into ChatGPT to help draft reports or explanations.
I used ChatGPT to help me understand MRI report terminology better. It was super helpful for that part!
Just a heads up, ChatGPT's training data doesn't include actual medical image processing, so it won't analyze MRI scans directly.
I tried asking ChatGPT about interpreting an MRI report once, and it gave some decent explanations, but that was just text. Not sure how it would do with images themselves though.
I think the tech is evolving fast, so maybe soon ChatGPT or its successors will handle images too.
Is there any way to combine ChatGPT with image analysis APIs to get a hybrid solution? That'd be pretty handy.
As far as I know, ChatGPT mainly processes text, so it probably can't directly analyze MRI images. You might need specialized AI models trained on image data for that.
For now, I use separate AI tools for image analysis and then ChatGPT to help with documentation and communication. Works pretty well!
Maybe in the future ChatGPT or similar models will be integrated with image processing tech. That'd be pretty dope for diagnostics!
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might be better suited for MRI image analysis. ChatGPT is cool but not made for images.
I wonder if there's any plugin or extension that allows ChatGPT to interpret images like MRIs? Haven't seen one yet though.
I'm a radiologist and from what I've seen, ChatGPT doesn't handle images at all. But it can be useful for generating patient-friendly summaries from reports.
Anyone tried feeding ChatGPT the raw MRI image data as text? Probably won't get anything useful but curious if someone's experimented.
I think some newer AI models combine text and images, but ChatGPT itself is pretty text-focused. Maybe in the future, it'll do both more seamlessly.
ChatGPT can analyze text descriptions of MRI findings but it can't 'see' the scan itself. Just gotta be clear on that distinction.
There are AI tools specifically trained on medical images, those are your best bet for analyzing MRI. ChatGPT can assist with the textual side only.
If you need MRI analysis, check out specialized AI platforms that focus on radiology. ChatGPT can support with follow-up questions or patient communication though.
