Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone's tried using ChatGPT or similar AI to actually generate a professional headshot? Seems kinda wild but would be super handy if it works. Curious about the quality and if it's worth relying on for stuff like LinkedIn or resumes. Anyone got experience or tips?

You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that do a great job with AI headshots. They keep updating with the latest tech.
I tried some AI tools for headshots but the results were kinda hit or miss. The lighting and facial expressions often look fake or off. Not quite ready to replace a real photographer imo.
Anyone tried using AI to enhance existing photos rather than create from scratch? That might be a safer bet.
I made a few AI headshots and shared them with friends. Most thought they looked cool but a bit 'too perfect' like a CGI character.
The best results I got were by combining AI generated images with some manual editing in Photoshop. Gives you the best of both worlds.
I gave it a shot and honestly, ChatGPT alone doesn't make images, it's mostly text-based. You'd want something like DALL·E or another AI image generator for pics. But it's cool how they all kinda work together nowadays.
One thing to keep in mind is AI headshots might not be accepted everywhere professionally because they’re not 'real' photos. Some places require actual photos for identity verification.
Does anyone know if AI generated headshots can be copyrighted? Like, who owns the image legally?
If you want a professional look, I'd still recommend going with a human photographer. AI is cool but it can't capture the subtle vibes you get in person.
Honestly, I think AI will eventually replace traditional headshots, but we’re just not quite there yet. The tech still needs some polish.
I actually used an AI generator recently to create a headshot for a project and it looked pretty decent for online stuff. Not quite print quality but good enough for social media profiles.
I feel like AI headshots are great for startups or casual use but if you’re going corporate, better safe than sorry with a pro photo.
