Hey folks, I've been using ChatGPT a lot lately and sometimes I wonder if it can actually mess up or give wrong info. Anyone else noticed this? Just curious how much we can trust it or if we should always double-check stuff.

I wish it could tell when it’s likely wrong and warn us more often.
Sometimes I think it gets confused when questions are vague or ambiguous.
It’s also important to remember it only knows info up to a certain date, so it can’t be right about recent events.
I use it mostly for casual stuff and don’t expect it to be perfect so I’m cool with occasional errors.
It’s weird how sometimes it’ll contradict itself in the same conversation.
I've noticed it sometimes mixes up similar terms or concepts, which can lead to confusion.
Honestly, I caught it giving wrong dates and stuff, so I dont trust it blindly anymore.
Anyone else think it sometimes sounds super confident but is totally off? Kinda annoying.
I think it’s a great starting point but not the final word on anything important.
I’ve read that it can reflect biases or false info present in the data it was trained on.
Yeah, ChatGPT can definitely be wrong sometimes. It's pretty good overall but it can hallucinate answers or mix up facts.
Just wanna add that you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you wanna compare alternatives or get more accurate AI helpers.
Can’t blame it tho, it’s just predicting text not actually thinking or understanding.
Sometimes I just ask it to explain where it got info from, but it can’t really do that well.
Sometimes its mistakes are kinda funny and make for good stories.
I think people expect too much perfection. It’s a tool, not some all-knowing oracle.
