I used it to check my essay’s coherence, and it pointed out some parts that were confusing. Helped me fix those.
ChatGPT saved me from a low grade once, was struggling with clarity in my intro and it helped me rephrase stuff so it flowed better.
I’d recommend always combining AI feedback with input from a real person if you can.
I’m thinking about using it for my thesis draft. Anyone done that?
Just curious, is it better at reviewing essays for school or college? Anyone with experience?
I tried it but felt like it was kinda generic in feedback. Like it didn't really get the specifics of my topic, so the comments were kinda meh.
I like using it to brainstorm alternative ways to phrase stuff I’m stuck on.
It’s pretty impressive how fast it can give feedback compared to waiting for a tutor’s comments.
Yeah, I started using it last semester when I was swamped with papers. It caught some grammar stuff and gave me ideas on how to make my arguments clearer. Not perfect tho, you gotta double check its suggestions.
I worry about relying on AI for reviews and losing my own editing skills.
Anyone tried using ChatGPT for peer review style feedback, like critiquing arguments and logic?
Does anyone know if it can help with citations and formatting too?
I’ve heard you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that help with essay reviewing, might be worth a look.
I’ve noticed it sometimes suggests changes that don't fit my writing style tho. Had to be careful with what I accepted.
How do you prompt ChatGPT to get the best essay review?
Sometimes it gets confused with idioms or slang in essays, so be careful with informal stuff.
Do you think it could eventually replace human essay reviewers?
