I read some articles saying Italy temporarily banned it for privacy concerns but they lifted it later.
I think social media had some debate about banning or limiting it, but nothing serious happened afaik.
My friend told me it was banned in their country but they use VPN to access it anyway.
My country has no ban, but the internet speed and data costs make it hard to use often.
Yeah, I heard some schools banned it for exams cuz they think students might cheat using it. Makes sense, but kinda harsh imo.
In workplaces, some companies block ChatGPT on their networks to protect sensitive info.
Just to add, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, sometimes they mention if stuff's restricted anywhere.
It’s kinda weird how some places allow it fully and others restrict it completely.
I tried to access it a few days ago and it worked fine here (Europe). So maybe no ban in some places at least.
Sometimes I wonder if banning ChatGPT actually pushes people to find sketchy alternatives.
I haven’t heard of a full ban anywhere, but partial blocks or restrictions seem common.
No idea about any official ban, but some countries might restrict access due to data privacy or govt rules.
No bans here but some folks complain it’s addictive or distracting.
I think rumors about it being banned spread fast but mostly it’s just restricted in certain places.
Some educators see ChatGPT as a threat to traditional learning and push for bans in schools.
Honestly, I just use it and don’t worry much about bans unless I get a warning or something.
Some people say it’s banned but then find out they just have connectivity or login problems.
I think some countries might block it due to content control and censorship policies.
My school banned it but only during tests, which makes sense. Otherwise, it’s allowed for homework help.
Honestly, I think a full ban is unlikely cuz so many businesses rely on it now. Maybe just limited access in some sectors?
Not banned here and I use it daily for work, no issues at all.
I heard some governments are working on AI regulations but no outright bans yet.
Would be neat to have a global policy on AI access though, kinda like internet rights.
I think when governments understand AI better they’ll make clearer rules instead of banning stuff.
I think ChatGPT being banned would be big news, I haven’t seen anything major yet.
