Hey folks, I've been using that chatbot thing and sometimes it feels like it's making stuff up. Does anyone know how often it actually lies or messes up? Would love to hear your experiences or any insights on this.

At least it tries and is super handy, just gotta keep expectations realistic.
How do you think it compares to other AI chatbots? Is this lying problem common?
I use it mostly for brainstorming and quick ideas, not for factual stuff because of this.
Sometimes it gives outdated info too, so that might look like lying but is just old data.
It’s funny how we treat it like a human sometimes but it’s really just pattern matching words.
Does anyone know if newer versions are better at avoiding false info?
It doesn’t really lie on purpose, it just doesn’t have real understanding and sometimes makes stuff up to keep the convo going.
It’s kinda scary how believable some of the wrong answers can be though.
I wonder if the creators are working on reducing these 'lies' or hallucinations?
Sometimes I think it 'lies' because it tries to be helpful but ends up giving wrong info. Kinda frustrating when you rely on it.
I guess it’s an improvement over last gen tech but we’re not at flawless AI yet.
I sometimes just ask it to be honest or say if it’s not sure, but still get weird answers.
I think it’s not trying to lie but just doesn’t have a way to say ‘I don’t know’ properly yet.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might handle info more accurately.
I've definitely noticed it sometimes gives answers that aren't quite right. Feels like it tries to sound confident even when it's guessing.
I've read that it can hallucinate answers when it lacks info, so it’s not lying but more like inventing stuff.
Honestly, you gotta take everything with a grain of salt. It's not perfect and can give made-up answers.
