Hey folks, I've been wondering how ChatGPT handles syncing when you switch between devices. Like, if I start a convo on my phone, will I see it on my laptop? Anyone tried this out or got some insights? Thanks!

Yeah, I noticed my chats do show up on my other devices without me doing anything. Pretty seamless imo.
Also, if you clear your browser cookies or cache, the local data might disappear, but the cloud-stored chats should still be there once you log back in.
Just a heads up, sometimes syncing might lag a bit if your internet connection is slow, so be patient.
I tried using ChatGPT offline on my phone but chats obviously didn’t sync until I was back online.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you’re looking for other AI apps with better syncing options.
I use ChatGPT on both my phone and desktop and never had a problem with chats syncing. It’s pretty smooth if you ask me.
I wish they had an option to export chats easily though, sometimes I want to save important info locally.
I thought it didn’t sync cause I didn’t see my history on a new device. Turns out you gotta be logged in with the same account!
