I wish it could get better with informal languages and slang in other languages — that’s where it still kinda falls short.
It's great for learning basic phrases or practicing simple conversations in a new language too.
Sometimes it seems like it translates internally to English first, which can cause some weird phrasing in answers.
It’s kinda amazing to see how far language AI has come in a few years. ChatGPT feels more natural than I expected.
Anyone tried using it in languages with different alphabets like Russian or Greek? How’s the accuracy?
For some Asian languages like Japanese and Korean, it’s good with basics but struggles with more complex sentences or slang. Anyone else had better luck?

Also tried Spanish and it’s pretty reliable! I love how you can switch between languages mid-conversation without much trouble.
Tried it in German and honestly, it’s decent but not perfect. It sometimes misses idioms or cultural context which kinda breaks the flow.

I tried mixing English and Italian in one chat and it handled the switch pretty well, which was kinda surprising.
Honestly, the way it handles different languages is surprisingly good compared to other AI models I've used.
I've tried ChatGPT in French and it works pretty smoothly for casual conversation. Sometimes it messes up complex grammar, but overall it's impressive!
