Hey folks, just wondering how many questions we can actually ask ChatGPT without having to pay or hit some kinda limit? I've been using it casually but not sure when the free tier stops. Anyone got the deets?

From my experience, it kinda feels like you can keep asking questions freely for a while but after a bunch of queries, it might say you’ve reached the limit for the day or something.
I was curious too and last I checked, there’s a pretty generous free tier but it does have limits depending on the platform you’re using it through.
Does anyone know if limits reset daily or monthly?
I heard it depends on the server load too — if the system’s busy you might get limited quicker.
I've never hit a hard limit, but sometimes the response gets slower or timeouts if too many requests are made in a short time.
If you’re really curious, just try and see how many questions you can send before getting a warning.
The free version is great for casual stuff but if you want nonstop access, subscribing might be the way to go.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they sometimes list alternatives with different free question limits.
Honestly, if you're using ChatGPT casually it’s unlikely you’ll hit the limit too fast unless you’re spamming questions.
I tried tracking how many questions I asked and lost count way before any limit.
I remember reading somewhere that they want to prevent abuse, so they set soft limits that can differ for each user depending on usage patterns.
