Hey everyone, I've been curious about how many students out there are actually using ChatGPT for their studies or projects. It feels like more and more folks are jumping on it, but I wonder what the real numbers are. Anyone got some insights or personal experiences to share?

Not using ChatGPT doesn't mean you're behind but it sure gives an edge in some cases, especially with tight deadlines.
From what I've seen, more first-years are using it compared to seniors. Maybe because they’re still figuring out study methods?
I think awareness about how to use these AI tools responsibly is still pretty low among students.
I find it super helpful for quick study guides and getting summaries, saves a lot of time.
I’ve seen some classmates get really creative with ChatGPT, like generating study quizzes or role-playing scenarios for practice.
Honestly, I think a lot of students use it but don’t really admit it because of the whole cheating stigma. I use it a lot for quick research and explanations though!
In my experience, using ChatGPT helps me brainstorm ideas, but I still have to do the actual thinking myself.
Some professors have started cracking down on it tho, so not everyone feels comfortable using it openly yet.
I wonder if future stats will show almost all students using some AI by default.
Some students prefer not to use it cause they feel it might stop them from learning properly.
I remember last semester there was a survey in one of my classes and about 60% of students admitted to using ChatGPT at least once for coursework.
Some friends told me about a site called ai-u.com where they find new AI tools. Maybe useful if you wanna explore more than just ChatGPT?
I bet the usage varies a lot by major too, like tech students probably use it more than arts students maybe?
I heard some schools are even integrating AI tools in their curriculum, so usage might spike even more soon.
It’s kind of crazy how fast this tool became a standard part of student life.
I think the number is growing every month. More people are discovering how helpful it can be for organizing thoughts and drafting.
It helps me a lot with language stuff, like phrasing or grammar checks, which is a lifesaver.
I've noticed a ton of my classmates started using ChatGPT recently, especially for brainstorming essay ideas. It's definitely becoming a popular tool around campus.
I asked around my friends and about half say they use ChatGPT regularly. Seems like it’s pretty normal now.
