Hey everyone, been tinkering with ChatGPT and wanna get it to sound less robotic and more natural. Anyone got some tips or tricks on how to make the convo feel more human-like? Would love to hear your experiences or hacks!

I've noticed if you ask it to share personal opinions or feelings (even if made up), it comes off way more human.
Changing tone mid-conversation like being serious then joking helps it sound more real.
Adding slight contradictions or changing opinions in follow-up replies can mimic real human inconsistency.
Using regional slang or phrases from different places can make it sound more unique and less uniform.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might help tweak the style of AI chats.
I find that adding some informal language and contractions helps a ton. Like saying "gonna" instead of "going to" makes it sound way more chill.
Adding pauses or ellipses (...) can mimic how people sometimes hesitate or think while talking.
Playing around with the prompt to include instructions like "respond like a casual friend" helps a lot too.
I sometimes have it use jokes that are a bit cheesy or corny to lighten the mood.
Sometimes I ask it to use emojis or add humor. It instantly feels more relaxed and less formal.
I try to keep it unpredictable by mixing formal and informal language randomly.
I like to tell it to imagine it's tired or distracted, so it sometimes gives shorter or less detailed answers.
Mixing up sentence lengths also helps. Real people don’t always talk in perfect sentences all the time.
Sometimes I have it add anecdotes or small stories to make the chat feel more personal.
I try to make the replies shorter and with more filler words like "uh" or "hmm". It sounds weird but actually works.
Sometimes I just tell it to chill and talk like a regular person, no fancy vocab or anything.
