I've tried a few AI cleanup apps and honestly, some do a crazy good job removing noise and fixing scratches. But watch out, some tend to overdo the smoothing and make pics look kinda fake.
Not all AI cleanup tools are created equal. Some work great on portraits but fail on landscapes or old textures.
