Hey everyone! I've been wondering how folks are able to send photos in ChatGPT chats. Is it even possible yet? Would love to hear if anyone's figured out a neat trick or if it's just not supported right now. Thanks in advance!

Wonder if in the future we'll be able to send photos and get instant photo captions or edits directly from ChatGPT.
I bet this will be a game changer once image uploads are supported natively. Imagine getting instant analysis of photos!
If you're just looking to describe photos, you can upload them somewhere else and share the link in chat, then describe what's in it for the AI to understand.
No clue how to do that, but it would be pretty cool if ChatGPT could analyze pics directly.
I tried asking ChatGPT if it can see images and it said no, so I guess that confirms it for now.
The chat UI might get updated soon, or maybe there's a beta somewhere with photo support? Anyone tried that?
Just to clarify, the web chat version doesn’t support photo sending, but the API might with future updates.
Can ChatGPT interpret screenshots or handwritten notes via image input yet?
I think the new GPT-4 version can handle images but only if you have access to the right platform or API, not the regular chat.
Just to mention, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending AI tools that might have image input features with chatbots.
Is anyone using other AI tools that already support photo inputs? I'm curious what's out there.
I wish you could just drag and drop pics in the chat like you do in messaging apps.
I tried sending pics in the chat but it seems like ChatGPT doesn't support image uploads directly. At least from what I can tell.
You can't send photos directly in the chat interface at the moment, but you can describe images and get pretty good responses.
If you want to test AI image recognition, some mobile apps combine ChatGPT and camera features.
I've read somewhere that some third-party apps integrate GPT and allow photo uploads; might be worth checking those out.
I guess the best bet is to wait and see how OpenAI rolls out image capabilities in ChatGPT.
I guess for now, just hang tight and keep an eye for official updates from OpenAI.
Sometimes I just wish ChatGPT could see exactly what I see instead of me typing out descriptions.
