So I've been using ChatGPT a lot and sometimes I wonder if it's always giving the right answers. Like, can we trust everything it says or should we double check stuff? Curious what you all think about its accuracy and when it might slip up.

Bottom line is it’s a helpful assistant but don’t treat it like an oracle. Keep your own judgment involved.
I use it mainly for brainstorming and ideas, not for facts. That way I don’t get bummed when it’s wrong.
Do you guys ever find it giving answers that just don’t make sense? I got some weird ones the other day.
Honestly, ChatGPT does a great job most of the time but it's definitely not perfect. I've caught it making mistakes or giving outdated info a few times.
Honestly, sometimes I think it’s more right than some humans I know lol. But still, not perfect for sure.
I think people expect it to be flawless and that’s just not realistic. It’s trained on tons of data but that data can be wrong or incomplete.
Would be nice if future versions could be better at checking their own facts or saying when they aren't sure.
Sometimes it’s spot on, sometimes not. It really depends on the question and how it’s phrased.
I think we just gotta remember it’s a language model, not a human, so it can’t truly understand things the way we do.
It’s a great starting point but not a replacement for expert advice. I wouldn’t rely on it for legal or medical stuff.
I sometimes feel like it just guesses when it doesn't know, which can be dangerous if you don’t watch out.
I've noticed ChatGPT struggles a bit with super recent news or very specific niche stuff. Otherwise it's pretty solid.
