I've been using both a lot recently. ChatGPT is awesome for writing and in-depth stuff, but Perplexity excels at summarizing and quick references. They kinda complement each other.
In the end, I guess both tools are great. Just gotta pick the right one for what you need at the moment!
Does anyone know if there's a site where I can check out new or trending AI tools? Heard there's loads coming out all the time.
I noticed Perplexity sometimes gives answers that feel less polished or a bit off context. Has anyone else faced that?
Honestly, I find ChatGPT more reliable for deeper conversations. It feels more natural and can keep up with complex topics way better than Perplexity, at least in my experience.
Anyone else noticed Perplexity sometimes pulls info from less reliable sources? It felt off on a couple of occasions for me.
For me, the UI and experience matter a lot. ChatGPT's interface is so clean and user-friendly, makes chatting way easier.
ChatGPT sometimes feels a bit too formal, especially if I just wanna have a laid-back chat. Perplexity is more casual in that way.
I actually prefer Perplexity for quick answers. It's snappy and gets me what I need fast without too much fluff. Great when I'm in a hurry.
For casual use, I think both are pretty solid. Just depends if you want speed or depth.
I appreciate that ChatGPT keeps improving over time. The updates make a difference in how it handles weird questions.
