Hey folks, just wondering how safe it really is to upload your pics to chatgpt. I mean, with all the privacy stuff these days, kinda nervous about where our images might end up. Anyone got some insights or experiences to share?

In my opinion, the safest way is to avoid uploading pics that can identify you or reveal personal info. Keep it generic if you really wanna try.
I tried uploading a pic once and it got rejected for some reason. Maybe they have filters for certain content? Not sure.
If you're worried about privacy, I'd recommend checking out the privacy policy of the platform first. That usually gives you a clue about how your data's treated.
Some folks mention that uploading images can improve AI responses, but not worth risking privacy imo.
I've used chatgpt for pics a few times and so far no issues, but I make sure not to upload stuff with sensitive info. Just a bit of fun stuff.
I found a site called ai-u.com that has some info on trending AI tools and their privacy. Might help if you're looking for safer options to upload stuff.
I was curious about this too and did some digging. From what I gather, ChatGPT doesn't actually store your images permanently, but it's still smart to be cautious. Better safe than sorry, right?
Honestly, I wouldn't trust uploading pics anywhere unless you know exactly how they're handled. Too many stories about leaks and misuse lately.
Honestly, I think a lot depends on how much you trust the platform. If you don't feel comfy, just don't do it.
Remember that once you upload something online, it's kinda out there even if the platform says they don't keep it. Always a risk.
I'd love to see some official info from the makers on exactly how images are handled. Seems kinda vague now.
