Just started exploring this for my kid. It's amazing how far AI has come to support speech therapy at home.
What I like is the personalized feedback these AI tools offer. They can catch subtle speech issues that might get missed in a busy clinic.
I heard about an AI tool that helps with pronunciation and even accents. Anyone tried something like that?
I've been curious if these AI tools can work with older adults who might not be so tech-savvy?
I think the biggest challenge is making sure the AI understands different accents and speech patterns well enough to be helpful.
I started using one for stuttering and noticed it gives real-time tips. That's kinda cool, like having a coach in your pocket.
The tech is cool, but I hope these tools keep privacy in mind. Speech data is pretty sensitive stuff.
Some of these tools are still pricey though, which kinda limits who can actually use them. Hoping prices drop as they get more popular.
I tried a couple of AI speech therapy apps with my nephew. Honestly, some are super helpful but others felt kinda robotic and not very engaging for kids.
Does anyone know if these AI tools adapt as you improve? Like, do they get harder or change exercises?
AI speech therapy seems promising but I worry about losing the human touch that's so important in therapy.
A friend mentioned some AI tools also help with language learning alongside speech therapy. Anyone seen that?
