I tried a couple tools and noticed they work better on longer texts than short blurbs.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they usually have updated lists and some user reviews. Pretty helpful!
Is there a way to make AI writing less detectable? Like tricks people use?
Is it common for people to use these detection tools for fun or just more for professional stuff?
I used one once and it told me my own writing was 'likely AI generated' lol, gotta take these with a grain of salt.
Thanks for all the info guys, really helpful to know what's out there.
I think this is a really interesting area for research, hope we get better solutions soon.
I've tried using tools like GPTZero and OpenAI’s classifier but results are mixed. Worth trying multiple to compare.
Is there any open source software for this? I’d love something to use without paying.
I feel like AI writing detection will be more important for schools and journalism soon.
I read that some detection tools analyze sentence complexity and word choice patterns.
I’m just curious, does anyone know if these detection tools can keep up with future AI writing models?
Yeah, I've tried a couple of those AI detection tools but they're not perfect. Sometimes they flag stuff wrong, especially if the writing is really polished.
I wonder if these tools are biased against certain writing styles. Like, could they falsely flag creative writing?
I’m curious if languages other than English have reliable AI detection tools?
Does anyone know if AI can fake handwriting or signatures too?
Sometimes, the context helps. If something feels off or too vague, might be AI made.
Anyone using these tools to check online articles or reviews?
Honestly, sometimes just reading the text carefully helps. AI writing tends to have a weird flow or unusual phrasing.
Some detection tools look for things like repetitive patterns or lack of personal anecdotes in text.
