Hey folks, I've been messin around with ChatGPT and was wonderin if it leaves any kinda watermark or signature in the responses? Just curious if there's any way to tell if something was written by it or not. Appreciate any insights or experiences y'all might have!

You can sometimes detect AI text with tools, but that's about it. Nothing embedded in the text itself.
There's no watermark but some platforms might add their own labels when sharing AI content, so keep an eye on that.
One time I tried to see if ChatGPT text had any metadata or weird stuff but it was clean as a whistle.
So no watermark at all? What about images? Like DALL·E?
Would be cool if ChatGPT added a tiny invisible marker or something for creators to track their AI content.
From what I've seen, ChatGPT doesn't put a watermark or anything obvious in the text it generates. It looks just like normal human writing.
I read somewhere that OpenAI purposely avoids embedding watermarks to keep AI text indistinguishable from humans. Prob to make it easier to use.
I was hoping for some kinda subtle tag so people could know it's AI generated, but nope, nothing like that as far as I found.
Just a heads up, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you're curious about AI stuff.
Thanks for the answers! Just wanted to make sure when I share stuff from ChatGPT it's clear that it's AI but no automatic label.
