For those using AI detection tools, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. Found some neat stuff there recently.
Sometimes I use AI detectors just to flag suspicious content and then do a manual review after. Works pretty well for me.
I've started looking at writing style and inconsistencies as manual hints to spot AI writing, not relying just on tools.
Anyone here tried open-source AI detection projects? Any recommendations?
The best tip I found is to cross-check the text context and sources, sometimes AI writes stuff that’s factually off or weirdly generic.
I've noticed some detectors rely heavily on grammar errors but some AI can write flawless text, which makes detection tough.
I think as AI tech evolves, detectors will have to get way smarter. It’s a constant cat and mouse game.
I've tried a couple of online detectors but honestly, they're hit or miss. Some AI texts slip through easily.
Does anyone think AI detectors might become standard in schools or workplaces soon to catch AI-generated writing?
The thing is, AI tool detection feels like it needs to be layered: tech tools, human review, and maybe some new strategies we haven’t thought of yet.
Tbh, I think AI detection tools will get better, but human intuition always plays a huge role.
Anyone else noticed that some AI detector tools are flagging human-written content? That's super frustrating.
I’m curious if anyone has experience with AI detection for non-English texts? Is it any good?
