Hey folks, I've been wondering if ChatGPT can actually watch videos and give us a quick summary or something. Like, maybe it can understand the content without us having to watch the whole thing? Would love to hear what you all think or know about this!

Does anyone know if newer GPT models can handle images or videos at all?
There are other AI tools that claim to summarize videos directly. Anyone tried those? How accurate are they?
Honestly, I'm just waiting for the day ChatGPT can watch my favorite shows and give me recaps lol.
I tried feeding ChatGPT with YouTube captions and it summarized pretty well, but only if the captions were accurate.
It's kinda wild how fast AI is moving. Today it's text, tomorrow who knows, maybe video and audio too!
I thought ChatGPT was mainly text-based, so I didn't think it could watch videos directly. It can probably summarize transcripts tho!
Does anyone know if OpenAI plans to add video processing to ChatGPT anytime soon?
I once used an app that turned my lecture videos into notes, but it wasn’t powered by ChatGPT. Maybe something like that could come in the future?
From what I've seen, ChatGPT can’t watch or process video files directly. You need to feed in text like subtitles or transcripts for it to work on summaries.
If ChatGPT could watch videos, that would be insane! Imagine just dumping YouTube vids and getting highlights instantly.
You can try uploading the video to a transcription service, then paste the text here for a summary. It’s a bit of a hassle but works for now.
