Hey folks, I been looking for some good ways to grab text from PDFs without a hassle. Tried a couple but still not happy with the results. Wondering what y'all use or recommend, especially something that doesn't mess up the formatting too bad! Anyone got tips or fave tools?

Honestly, I've found Adobe Acrobat's built-in text extraction to be decent if you already have it. The export to Word feature usually works fine for me.
I've been using this tool called PDF Extract Pro and it does a pretty solid job. Keeps most of the formatting intact which is a huge plus for me.
If you want free options, Google Docs can convert PDFs to text by uploading them and opening as Docs. Not perfect but pretty handy for quick stuff.
