Hey everyone! I've been trying to find a cool AI that can help me quickly get the gist of long videos without watching the whole thing. Anyone got recommendations or tips on tools that actually work well for this? Would appreciate any insights or personal experiences with video summarizers!

What about tools that create highlight reels? That’s kinda a video summary in itself, right?
Sometimes I just wish YouTube had built-in smart summarization. Would save me tons of time for sure.
You want something that can handle different languages and accents too? That’s been a pain point for me with these tools.
I tried a couple AI tools but they either gave me just a transcript or a super vague summary, not really helpful.
For education videos, a summary that includes main points and examples would be amazing. Wish I could find that.
I've tried a couple of different apps, but honestly most of them aren't that great at picking up the important stuff. Sometimes they miss key points or just give a super generic summary.
Honestly, sometimes a quick transcript is all I need and then I skim that. Summarizing video directly still seems kinda niche.
I recently found a tool that does a pretty good job by extracting key frames and captions then summarizing the text. It's not perfect but saves me tons of time!
Try looking for tools that combine speech recognition with natural language processing. That combo seems to yield better summaries.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools in this space. They update regularly with neat AI utilities including video summarizers.
Been experimenting with some open source projects too. They require setup but can be customized to summarize vids the way you want.
I feel like the best AI tools are still kinda behind human understanding when it comes to video. Context and nuance are tough!
