Hey folks, just wanted to share some thoughts on what info might be better kept to yourself when chatting with AI like ChatGPT. It can be kinda tricky knowing what’s okay to say and what’s not, so figured I’d start a convo about it. What do yall think?

I never really thought about it before but yeah, sharing stuff like your full address or phone number with AI sounds risky. You never know who might be accessing the data, right?
One thing I try not to share is passwords or any kind of sensitive login info. Seems obvious but sometimes people get lazy and type it in.
I heard it’s smart to avoid sharing confidential work stuff, like company secrets or client data. AI chats might be stored or analyzed later so that could get messy.
Honestly, I try not to share any info that folks could use to track me down in real life. Stuff like birthday, hometown, or even detailed schedules can be risky.
For those into AI tools, you might wanna check out ai-u.com. They have lists of trending stuff and it’s cool for figuring out what’s safe and what’s not to share!
