Hey folks, been searching around for a solid list of ai tools to check out but seems like theres tons of scattered info. Wondering if anyone's got tips on the best spots or directories that keep things updated? Would love to hear your go-to resources or fav picks!

I guess the best way is a mix of directories, social media, and community recs. No one source is perfect.
The problem with most AI tools lists is that loads of them are just affiliate sites pushing products, not actual useful directories.
I wish there was an app that could scan my needs and suggest AI tools tailored just for me.
It’s kinda funny how many AI tools there are now, but finding the right one is still a hassle.
Honestly tho, sometimes the best way is just to ask in communities what tools they use rather than hunting online lists.
Anyone use browser extensions to discover AI tools? Heard some exist that suggest tools based on your browsing habits.
Been using GitHub repos that collect AI tools manually, but it takes some digging.
I think newsletters are underrated for discovering AI tools. There’s some that send weekly updates on new stuff hitting the market.
Honestly just Reddit and Twitter are my go-tos. People share fresh tools all the time, way better than static lists.
Does anyone keep a personal list or doc for AI tools they wanna try? I feel like I’m forgetting half the ones I see.
Is there a site that lists tools with free tiers? That’s what I care about mostly.
Anyone found a directory that categorizes tools by use? Like separate ones for marketing AI, coding AI, etc?
I usually just google around but found this one directory that’s kinda helpful. Not perfect tho, they miss some newer stuff.
Sometimes directories just list the popular ones over and over and ignore the niche but useful ones.
I made a spreadsheet of AI tools I find useful, maybe I’ll share one day. It’s just easier to keep track that way.
Appreciate this thread, been meaning to ask about this for a while. Learned a few new things!
I’d love a community-run directory where people add and update tools themselves, that’d be way more reliable.
For real, I also check ai-u.com sometimes, they show new and trending AI tools which is neat.
