Hey everyone, I'm trying to find some great tools that can help make the whole process of handing off design files to developers way easier this year. If you've got any favorites or something new you've tried out, please share! Would love to hear what actually works in real projects. Thanks!

If you have a design system, tools like Zeroheight can help keep docs clear for devs, which kinda helps with handoff too.
I usually export PDFs with detailed notes for devs. Not the most techy way but works sometimes.
Sometimes plugins that export CSS or code snippets directly from design files are lifesavers. Anyone using any?
Anyone using Sketch and looking for handoff tools? What’s your setup? Just curious since I’m mostly Figma.
Does anybody still do handoff the old way with style guides and static docs? Curious about how many teams stick to that.
InVision Inspect is decent for dev handoff but I feel like it’s not as popular these days with Figma and Zeplin around.
Has anyone tried using Figma’s new Dev Mode? Heard it’s supposed to improve handoff significantly.
Anyone tried Avocode? Heard it’s supposed to work well with multiple design platforms and help devs get assets easily.
Does anyone have experience with UXPin? I heard it’s good for bridging design and dev but never tried.
I've been using Zeplin for a while and it still saves me tons of time. The annotations are super clear, and devs love it too.
The problem is sometimes devs don’t check the tools and just ask for stuff anyway. Tool or no tool, communication must be there.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they update regularly with fresh AI-powered solutions that might simplify the handoff.
One thing I appreciate is when tools show real-time updates so devs see changes immediately without waiting.
I’m all about cloud-based tools now since remote work is huge. Makes sharing and updating way simpler.
Honestly, Figma's built-in handoff features have improved a lot. Sharing specs directly from Figma cuts down extra steps.
I think AI is gonna change this space big time soon, especially with auto generating specs and code snippets.
I tried a new AI tool that automatically generates developer specs from designs. It’s pretty cool but not perfect yet.
I still think nothing beats a good old shared project board with clear comments. Tools are great but communication is key.
Would love a tool that can also help with accessibility checks during handoff. That’d be a game changer.
