Hey everyone! I've been diving into different tools that help generate AI-driven assessments and quizzes. Thought it might be cool to share experiences or recommendations here, cause honestly, some of these tools can be kinda overwhelming. Anyone got favorites or tips?

Honestly, if you’re into AI stuff, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They update pretty often and have some cool stuff for assessment generation.
Trying to get AI to generate good essay prompts has been a challenge, anyone else? The outputs usually feel generic or off-topic.
Sometimes I feel like the AI questions are too easy or too hard, no in between. Anyone else have that problem?
I’ve had good luck using platforms that let you import your own material and then the AI just helps with reformulating or generating similar questions. It feels more in control that way.
I recently tried a couple of AI quiz makers for my class and honestly, some of them saved me tons of time. The tricky part is getting the questions to feel natural and not too robotic though.
If you want something with a lot of template options, I’d recommend checking out those LMS platforms that now have AI built in. They’re super handy and integrate well with your existing courses.
Has anyone tried AI tools that generate assessments for coding or technical subjects? I’m curious how well they handle that complexity.
Honestly, I just want a tool that can make good questions and also randomize answer choices so cheating’s harder. Not sure if AI can do that well yet.
One thing I wish these tools had more of is diversity in question types. Too many just do multiple choice or true/false, which gets boring fast.
I’m a bit worried about bias in AI-generated questions. Has anyone looked into how these tools handle fairness?
For quick quizzes, I usually just use AI to brainstorm question ideas and then customize from there. Saves me a bunch of time without relying fully on it.
With the pace AI tools are evolving, I guess we’ll see way better assessment generators soon. Fingers crossed!
