Hey folks, been hunting for some good apps or websites that can help snag cheap flights. Travel costs get pricey fast so any tips on tools that actually find the best deals would be awesome. Tried a few but not sure if I'm missing better ones out there. Would love to hear what works for you all!

Be sure to check budget airlines’ own sites too since some don’t show up on aggregators. Like Southwest in the US is notorious for that.
Anyone tried using credit card travel portals? Sometimes you get better deals or extra points booking flights through them.
I always try to be flexible on dates and even destinations if I can. Sometimes you find wild deals just by being open. Kayak’s explore feature is cool for this.
If you’re flexible with dates, Kayak’s flexible date search can really help find bargain flights. That’s been a lifesaver for me.
I once found a crazy cheap flight by booking two one-ways on different airlines rather than a round trip. Might be worth trying that if you’re flexible.
I use the app Skiplagged sometimes; it finds those hidden city ticketing deals that most sites don’t show.
I usually use a couple of different apps and compare. Skyscanner is pretty solid and gives decent alerts for price drops.
Man, don’t forget to clear your cookies or use incognito mode! Prices can creep up if sites think you’re desperate for a ticket.
Don’t forget to factor in baggage and seat fees when checking prices. Sometimes a 'cheaper' ticket ends up costlier after add-ons.
Also check nearby airports. Flying out of or into a city a bit farther away can sometimes save a lot of money.
Booking mid-week flights tends to be cheaper in my experience. Weekend flights always jack up the price way more than they should.
I’m a fan of Momondo, it shows flights from lots of smaller sites and sometimes digs up hidden deals normal search engines don’t find.
I’ve tried a bunch of these and honestly the best trick is patience. Wait for sales, watch trends and don't jump on the first price you see.
One thing that helps me is setting up price alerts on multiple platforms, so I get notified as soon as a deal drops. Saves me from checking all day.
Hey, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that find deals on flights. They update a lot and sometimes have some neat AI-driven options.
Google Flights is surprisingly good for tracking fares and suggesting nearby airports to save money. Plus the interface is clean and easy to use.
Sometimes using a VPN and checking flights from different countries’ versions of sites can show different prices. It’s a bit extra work but worth it if you’re hunting for deals.
