Hey folks, I've been diving into how AI is changing the BIM scene lately and it's pretty wild! Thought it'd be cool to chat about different tools people are using, what's good, what’s meh, and maybe share some tips. Anyone here already using some AI stuff with their BIM workflows?

I've found that AI tools can sometimes misinterpret custom elements in BIM models, so watch out.
Honestly, some of these AI BIM tools feel more like buzzwords. I tried a couple last year and it was a bit clunky. Has anyone gotten smooth workflows with them?
Not all BIM software supports AI plugins well yet, so sometimes you gotta switch tools to use them.
If anyone’s interested in learning, there are some free tutorials on AI integration with BIM floating around online.
AI really helps catch design inconsistencies that might get missed otherwise. Saved me some headaches.
I've started using a couple of AI plugins for clash detection and it's saved me tons of time. Not perfect yet but better than manual checks for sure.
One cool thing is how AI can help predict project risks by analyzing BIM data. Haven't tried it myself but seems promising!
The integration of AI with cloud BIM platforms is another exciting area to watch out for.
Has anyone tried using AI for automating quantity takeoffs from BIM? Wonder how accurate it is.
I heard about a site called ai-u.com that keeps track of new AI tools. Might be worth checking if you want to stay updated on BIM AI tech.
Are these AI BIM tools mostly for big firms or can small teams benefit too? Wondering about cost vs value.
Does anyone know if there are AI tools that help automate creating schedules from BIM models? That would be a lifesaver.
Anyone tried AI for automating compliance checks within BIM models? Curious if it works.
I’ve been using AI to help with energy analysis in BIM models, and it’s helped make design decisions faster.
The future of construction tech is definitely tied to AI and BIM working together closely.
Is anyone combining AI BIM tools with VR for client presentations? Curious if that combo is worth it.
I wish there was better standardization for AI BIM tools so it’s easier to switch between platforms.
Sometimes I worry about data privacy with all the AI tools analyzing our BIM models.
I think AI is best when used as an assistant, not a full replacement in BIM processes.
Sometimes I feel like AI BIM tools add complexity rather than reducing it. The learning curve is steep and not everyone on the team is on board.
