From my experience, there's a free tier but if you want more features or usage, you gotta sign up for the paid plan.
The chat interface is free but if you want to integrate with other services or do custom stuff, that’s where charges come in.
I think it depends on how much you use it. For small stuff, free is enough, but for heavy usage, you gotta pay.
Just to add, OpenAI sometimes changes the pricing, so keep an eye on their official page if you care about the costs.
I heard the free plan has some cooldowns too, like you can’t spam requests nonstop.
I think ChatGPT charges mostly come if you use the API for your apps, not regular chatting.
Honestly, I just use the free one. No issues so far, but I don't do anything heavy with it.
I didn't pay anything for a while, but recently some features got locked behind a subscription. Not sure if everyone sees that though.
They have a free version but if you want faster responses and priority access, you need to pay for ChatGPT Plus.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They sometimes compare pricing on these AI platforms which is handy.
I’m just happy they offer any free use honestly. AI tech like this shouldn’t be locked behind paywalls only.
I tried the paid plan for a month just to test it out, it’s kinda nice but depends if you really use it a lot.
There are some limits on daily usage with the free tier, so if you run out, gotta wait till next day or upgrade.
