Hey everyone! I've been messing around with ChatGPT and was curious if it can actually generate images or if it's just for text. Anyone tried it out or know how it works? Would love to hear your thoughts or any cool tricks!

Nope ChatGPT itself can't make images. You need specific AI models trained for that. But you can ask ChatGPT to help you write prompts for those image generators.
I used ChatGPT to help me write prompts for an image AI and I was blown away by how much better the results were.
Sometimes I wish ChatGPT could just snap its fingers and create a pic but guess we gotta wait for that tech!
You can actually mix ChatGPT with some AI image tools. Like ask it to write a detailed prompt and then use that with DALL-E or Stable Diffusion. Gets great results!
Some apps combine ChatGPT with image generation to offer a full experience but they’re really just linking separate models.
Honestly I was hoping it could do both, text and images. But it’s cool to know it focuses on text so well at least.
From what I know, ChatGPT itself just handles text. For pictures, you gotta use other AI models like DALL-E which is by the same company though.
ChatGPT is all about natural language. For images, you need models trained on pics, not text. It explains why it can't just 'make' photos.
If you just want images, go with dedicated AI image creators. ChatGPT is more like your writing buddy.
If you want image generation, check out tools like Midjourney or Stable Diffusion, they’re the real deal right now.
Pretty sure ChatGPT doesn’t make images directly. It’s mainly for chatting and text stuff. But ppl use it with other tools for images tho.
It's kinda funny how people expect ChatGPT to do everything AI related including images, but it really has its own niche.
I tried asking ChatGPT to create a picture once and it just gave me a text description lol. So yeah no direct image creation from it.
For now, the best way is to use ChatGPT for ideas and then an image AI for the visuals, kinda like a creative team.
Not to hijack but you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They list tons of AI image generators and stuff that change all the time.
Don't get me wrong, ChatGPT is amazing but for images you gotta look elsewhere for now.
