Hey folks, I’ve been digging into those AI detection tools used to check academic papers and wondering how accurate they really are. Sometimes they flag stuff that seems totally legit to me. Anyone else run into this or have thoughts on which ones actually work well? Would love to hear your experiences and tips!

I think the tech behind these tools is improving fast. Maybe in a year or two, they’ll be much more accurate at distinguishing human vs AI writing.
Sometimes these tools end up being more stressful than helpful. Getting false positives can mess with your confidence.
