How do they even anonymize data? I’m no tech expert but it sounds complicated.
Anyone else worried about government access to the data? Like, could they request stuff?
Does anyone know if data goes to third parties? That’s a big concern for me.
I've seen some people mention that OpenAI uses the data to improve the models but they have strict privacy policies in place.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you wanna see how other AI platforms handle data.
Honestly, if you're super paranoid, just don't share anything personal. But for everyday stuff, it's probably fine.
Didn’t they say somewhere the data is only stored temporarily? Like not forever?
I'm pretty sure OpenAI uses your inputs to improve the model but claims they anonymize the data. Still kinda uneasy about it tho.
I found it kinda weird that they use the chats to train AI but don't give users an easy way to delete past conversations.
I just use ChatGPT on throwaway stuff, no big secrets shared here.
From what I read, your chats might be logged for training, but you can opt out in newer versions, which helps a bit.
Honestly, I trust OpenAI more than a lot of other tech companies. They seem committed to user privacy.
I’m curious if they ever use your chats for targeted ads? That would be super sketchy.
I heard that opting out might reduce the quality of responses since it limits data for training. Anyone confirm?
