Hey everyone, I've been digging into some AI options to help me quickly summarize long PDF docs. It's kinda tough to find tools that do a good job without messing up the context. Wondering what you all have tried and recommend? Looking for stuff that’s fast and actually gets the main points right.

I’m still searching for a free tool that actually works well. Paid stuff seems good but not always an option for me.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools in this space. They keep track of the latest stuff and some of the tools there are pretty slick.
If you want something simple, there’s this tool I use that integrates with my PDF reader and just highlights key points for me. Saves tons of time!
I tried a couple of apps that do automatic summaries but honestly, some just spit out random phrases. The key is finding something that understands the content, not just cuts text short.
Honestly, sometimes I just copy-paste the text into a general AI chat and ask it to summarize. It’s not automated but usually good for tricky PDFs.
Be careful with tools that require uploading sensitive PDFs though, especially if they contain confidential info. Data privacy matters!
