So far, Gemini feels like it’s taking baby steps with memory compared to ChatGPT but the potential’s there!
I heard you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you wanna keep an eye on stuff like Gemini and ChatGPT updates.
I’m kinda hoping for an option where you can choose how much the AI remembers, would be neat for privacy control.
ChatGPT’s memory is kinda session-based unless you use plugins or special features. Gemini might be following a similar route.
Anyone knows if Gemini can remember stuff across different devices or sessions? That would be cool.
Memory in these AI models can get tricky cause they gotta balance privacy and usefulness. Maybe that’s why Gemini’s memory feels different.
Really curious how Gemini handles long conversations. ChatGPT keeps context pretty well but sometimes forgets stuff too.
Honestly, I think Gemini's memory ability is still pretty basic compared to ChatGPT. It’s like early days for that feature.
From what I've seen, Gemini does have some kinda memory feature, but it feels a bit different from ChatGPT's approach. Not as seamless imo.
Does anyone know if Gemini’s memory tech is based on transformers like ChatGPT?
Wondering if Gemini will eventually sync memory with other Google services for a more integrated experience.
Sometimes I think ChatGPT forgets things just to keep the convo fresh lol, maybe Gemini does the same?
Like someone mentioned, Gemini remembers the current chat but it doesn’t seem to save history between sessions yet.
I read that Gemini aims for more interactive memory, like recalling user preferences dynamically.
I’m still testing Gemini out, so far I like how it responds but I’m missing some memory features from ChatGPT.
I've tried Gemini a bit and it kinda remembers previous prompts within the same chat session, but once you close it, everything's lost.
Gemini’s memory seems more about understanding context right now than storing actual chat history.
