Hey folks, I've been trying to find some good AI tools that can help me create images without paying anything. Tried a few but kinda overwhelmed with all the options out there. Anyone got recommendations or maybe some tips on which ones actually work well? Would appreciate any insights!

If you want totally free and open source, maybe try RunwayML? It’s got some free options too.
I’m a fan of DALL·E mini, it’s not perfect but pretty neat for free AI-generated pics.
Just wanted to mention you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They’ve got a good list of free AI image generators updated regularly.
Some of these free AI tools are awesome for concept art, even if the quality isn’t perfect for final work.
Thanks everyone! I learned a lot here and will check out the tools you all mentioned. Much appreciated!
I’ve also noticed some apps only give you a set number of free credits each day, which can be limiting.
OpenAI’s DALL·E 2 has a waitlist for free use, so it’s not instantly accessible for everyone sadly.
I've been using this one called Deep Dream Generator, and it’s pretty cool for free stuff. The results aren’t always perfect but definitely fun to play with.
I use Canva’s free AI image maker sometimes, it’s pretty handy and doesn’t require too much setup.
Personally, I think the best free AI generators are the ones that keep updating their models regularly.
I tried a bunch but honestly, some free ones have watermarks which kinda sucks.
The AI art scene is moving so fast, it’s hard to keep track of which free tools are still good.
Have you heard of artbreeder? It lets you mix images and create stuff that looks pretty cool for free.
I’m still waiting for something that can do photorealistic images for free, lol. Most free AI tools feel a bit cartoonish to me.
Procreate is great but not free tho. Wish there was an AI tool like that that’s free for image creation.
Sometimes I just mess around with nightcafe. It’s got a free tier and the quality’s decent enough for fun projects.
Sometimes the free AI tools take forever to generate images, anyone else experienced that?
Anyone tried using AI tools on mobile? Wondering if those free options work well on phones.
