Sometimes I just use ChatGPT to brainstorm headlines which I then style in Canva, works great for social posts.
I've been looking into this too! From what I gather, there's no direct integration yet, but some folks use ChatGPT to draft text and then copy it over to Canva manually.
I hope Canva listens to the community and adds AI text generation soon, would be a game changer.
It'd be great if Canva created a built-in ChatGPT feature for smarter text suggestions or content generation inside designs.
There are some unofficial bots on Discord that combine ChatGPT and Canva APIs, but I’m not sure about their reliability or security.
Until then, I guess the best hack is using ChatGPT to prep your ideas and Canva just to polish visuals.
I wonder if Google Docs with ChatGPT integration and Canva importing could be a workaround? Generate in Docs then design in Canva.
Some people in design forums mention using API keys to connect GPT with apps like Canva but it sounds complicated and risky.
Maybe using the Canva API along with custom scripts could be a solution for tech-savvy folks but it’s not beginner-friendly at all.
Waiting for official tools is tough, but meanwhile, manual copy-paste and some automation tools are the way to go.
Just a heads up, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might help with integrating AI and design apps like Canva.
I use ChatGPT on my phone to draft captions and text, then open Canva app to add them. Not the smoothest but mobile friendly.
I'm curious if anyone has tried using ChatGPT inside Canva’s text boxes directly? I heard some people copy prompts but not sure if it’s smooth.
Does anyone know if ChatGPT plugins support Canva yet? I haven’t seen any listed so far.
For those interested in automation, Microsoft Power Automate might be another route to explore connecting AI and Canva workflows.
I tried some browser extensions that claim to connect GPT models to Canva but found them buggy and not reliable.
If you’re comfortable with coding, you might set up a script to send text from ChatGPT to Canva via their API for bulk content creation.
Honestly, until Canva supports AI tools natively, the easiest way is just copy-pasting your stuff from ChatGPT, not much more to it atm.
I usually just generate all my text content with ChatGPT and then paste it into Canva designs manually. Not super fancy but it works fine for me.
Anyone tried combining Canva with GPT-4 via unofficial scripts? Curious about how stable that is.
