Hey folks, I've been hunting for some good apps that can help clean up watermarks on images without messing them up too much. Tried a few but results are all over the place. Anyone got fave tools or tricks they swear by? Would love to hear how you handle this stuff!

Sometimes combining tools works best. Like first removing watermark with AI then cleaning up edges manually is what I do.
I found some mobile apps that do watermark removal surprisingly well for quick fixes, like TouchRetouch and Snapseed's healing tool.
Does anyone know if these watermark removers work well on video frames too? Like can AI clean watermarks from videos?
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they sometimes feature the latest watermark removers that work surprisingly well.
Honestly, if the watermark is big or complex, sometimes you gotta manually clone or heal parts. AI tools help but not magic.
Does anyone use GIMP for this? I heard it's a free Photoshop alternative and might help with watermark removal.
I've tried a couple apps but honestly, some just blur the watermark instead of actually removing it, looks kinda fake. It's tricky to get it perfect, but some AI-based ones do a decent job if you tweak settings right.
Be careful with watermarks tho, some images are copyrighted and removing watermarks might be illegal depending on use.
If you're looking for something quick, sometimes just cropping out the watermark can save time though it's not always ideal.
Just wanna add, sometimes watermark removal can degrade original image quality so save a copy first!
Tried some online tools that claim to remove watermarks but usually they mess up the image or add a new watermark lol.
If you wanna avoid watermark hassle, sometimes just look for stock photos with free licenses instead, saves a lot of headache.
Is there any free software that can do this without big watermarks or trial limits? Most free ones are kinda useless imo.
One tip I found helpful: zoom in and manually clean small spots after AI does the heavy lifting. Looks way better.
Some AI watermark removers are super slow tho, takes forever on big images. Patience needed!
AI's really changed the game here, used to be way harder to fix watermarks without leaving marks behind.
For me, apps like Inpaint and some Photoshop plugins have been solid. They don't always get it perfect, but usually good enough for casual edits.
Anyone tried remove.bg for this? I mainly know it for backgrounds but heard it can help clean watermarks too.
