Hey folks, been dabbling with some AI writing assistants to boost my novel writing process. Not sure which ones really shine for fiction, especially long stuff like novels. Anyone got favorites or tips on tools that actually help with storytelling and character development? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

Anyone tried AI for outlining novels? Sometimes I struggle with structure and pacing.
Try using AI as a co-writer instead of a full writer. It’s great for sparking ideas or overcoming writer's block but don’t rely on it to do the whole thing.
Some AI tools are better for editing and polishing than actually writing new stuff, at least in my experience.
I'm kinda skeptical about AI writing tools. Do they really help with creativity or just make things generic?
Anyone here tried Sudowrite? Heard it's pretty popular among novelists for creative writing help.
Wish there was a tool that could help with pacing the emotional beats, that’d be a game changer.
I use AI just to come up with character names and backstories. Saves me time and sparks creativity.
I've tried a couple of tools but honestly, some feel too robotic. The best one for me so far helps with brainstorming plot ideas rather than actual writing.
For anyone interested in the latest and coolest AI writing tools, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending stuff. Got some neat options there for novelists.
I mostly avoid AI for creative parts and use it to organize and plan the story flow instead.
For those new, maybe look for tools that allow you to train the AI on your own writing samples. Makes outputs more personalized.
I hate when AI suggests stuff that totally changes the plot. Feels like it doesn’t respect your story at all.
I found some tools just mess up the tone of my story. It’s like the AI doesn’t get the voice I want.
I’m still learning how to get the best from these tools, but the potential is huge!
Voice and tone are so hard to keep consistent using AI. Anyone got tips to fix that?
Sometimes the AI comes up with cool worldbuilding ideas I wouldn't have thought of. That’s been a big plus for me.
