Woke up to alerts today because a legacy endpoint returned null instead of empty arrays. Our parser choked on None instantly. We added a .get() everywhere but now the code is unreadable. Is there a cleaner way to handle missing data without cluttering the logic? Looking at how others manage strict typing vs dynamic fallbacks.
