Would be cool if there was a bot that could interpret images and feed the info to ChatGPT automatically!
Is there a way to convert an image to text description automatically, then send that to ChatGPT?
Does anyone know if mobile apps for ChatGPT have better image support?
Has anyone tried sending images by pasting a URL to see if ChatGPT can pull the image info?
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might offer better image input options with GPT models.
I hope they add drag and drop images soon, that’d be super handy!
Honestly, I think it’s a limitation of the model right now. ChatGPT isn’t trained on images, so it can’t process them directly.
I tried sending an image directly but it seems like ChatGPT doesn't support image uploads yet. Might have to wait for an update or use other apps.
I guess for now, just keep an eye on updates from OpenAI. Maybe they’ll add image support soon.
Some folks say you can try GPT-4 with vision capabilities, but I don’t think that’s publicly available yet.
Honestly, just describing what’s in the image works most of the time. Maybe a bit annoying but effective.
If you want to explain an image, maybe describe it in words to ChatGPT instead? That works pretty well for me.
I heard if you’re using some platforms that integrate GPT, they might have image upload features, but the standard chatgpt site doesn’t.
