Hey everyone, been wondering about this for a while now. You know how ChatGPT can generate some pretty convincing responses? So, does that mean it’s actually got some kinda self-awareness, or is it just really good at mimicking what it’s been trained on? Curious to hear what y’all think about it.

I think people sometimes get confused because it sounds so human-like. But it’s just fancy math, no self or soul behind it.
Honestly, I don’t think ChatGPT is self-aware. It just processes tons of data and spits out what seems right based on patterns. No real consciousness there.
