I think Gemini has improved a lot recently, but it's still not as consistent with tricky algebra or calculus stuff compared to ChatGPT.
I actually prefer Gemini for quick answers, but for learning math concepts, ChatGPT is way better.
I’m curious how future updates will change this, AI math is evolving fast!
Sometimes Gemini’s answers seem a bit generic, like it’s just pulling info rather than really understanding the math.
For math proofs and logic, ChatGPT seems to have a better grasp. Gemini’s more hit or miss there.
ChatGPT’s better natural language understanding also helps when math problems are wordy or oddly phrased.
I feel like the user experience on ChatGPT makes it easier to stay focused on the problem, not the interface.
Been using both for a while now and honestly, the difference isn’t huge for basic math but ChatGPT definitely shines with word problems and multi-step reasoning.
I think the math skill gap depends a lot on the specific question type.
For me, the deciding factor is how well the AI explains the answers—ChatGPT just feels more user-friendly in that regard.
For me, the biggest factor is consistency and accuracy, and ChatGPT currently leads there for math.
Anyone else noticed Gemini sometimes struggles with fractions or decimals more than ChatGPT? It’s weird.
Been using both on my phone and honestly ChatGPT’s UI feels smoother for math input.
Gemini’s potential is exciting but not quite there yet for advanced math.
Would love to see a hybrid model that combines Gemini’s speed with ChatGPT’s depth someday.
Sometimes I just want a quick number, then ChatGPT or Gemini works fine, but for learning, ChatGPT wins hands down.
Gemini feels a bit more experimental but promising. ChatGPT has the polish and reliability for now.

Honestly, I've tried both and feel like ChatGPT handles more complex math problems with better explanations. Gemini seems quick but sometimes misses the nuances.
Gemini’s still fun to test out tho, especially for quick mental math or simple queries.
Tried Gemini recently and it’s pretty good, but ChatGPT still wins in detailed calculus stuff.
I’d love to hear from folks who use Gemini a lot for math, what’s your take?
Tried some geometry problems and ChatGPT gave more detailed explanations, which helped a lot.
