Hey folks, been hearing a lot about the next version of ChatGPT but can't seem to find any solid info on when it'll drop. Anyone got some insider news or just good guesses? Really curious about what new features might come along too!

I've read somewhere they might skip version 5 and go to a different naming scheme or something? Not sure how true that is tho.
As long as it doesn’t start charging crazy prices, I’m all in for whatever new stuff they drop.
Does anyone know if the update will be free or part of some new subscription?
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they post updates pretty fast and reliable.
Imagine if next version can do image generation right inside the chat, that’d be sick.
Would love to see better multi-language support, the current one’s just okay.
I’m kinda worried these updates might make it harder to use or too complicated for casual users.
If anyone’s curious, the last major release was about a year ago, so maybe we’re looking at something soon?
Would be awesome if it comes this year but I wouldn’t hold my breath. They usually announce stuff when it’s pretty much ready.
Anyone tried the beta versions? Wondering if some features sneak in early.
Honestly, I just want it to be more creative with responses, kinda like having a real convo with a buddy.
Hope the update improves the accuracy on facts. Sometimes it just makes stuff up!
I’m guessing no official date until they’re ready to announce. Patience is key with these things.
I wish they’d add voice interaction. That’d be a game changer for me personally.
Honestly, I think they’re still ironing out a lot. With how fast AI evolves, it’s hard to pin down exact dates.
I heard it’s probably gonna focus more on handling longer conversations without losing track, which would be neat.
