Hey folks! I've been diving into different AI text to speech options lately and wanted to chat about which ones you think are really worth trying. Some sound super natural, others kinda robotic. Would love to hear your experiences or any cool tips you got!

I ran into some TTS tools that require text to be broken into small chunks which is annoying for longer content.
I've tried a couple of these tools and honestly, some are just miles better than others in terms of voice quality. The naturalness really depends on the model they use. I liked one that even had different accents available which was neat.
I use these tools for customer service bots voices sometimes. It works well, but clients want more natural sounding voices.
Does anyone know if these tools are accessible for people with disabilities? Like, do they have inclusive designs?
I wish more of these tools had offline options. Reliance on internet connection can be a pain sometimes.
I think the biggest game changer will be when these voices can mimic emotions better. Right now it’s mostly flat, you know?
Are there any tools that support multiple languages well? I work with clients globally and that's a must for me.
One thing I dislike is when the voice sounds too cheerful all the time, even for serious texts. Kinda weird.
I found some tools have better mobile apps than desktop versions, which surprised me.
I also noticed that the pricing can be quite different. Some charge per character, some monthly subs. It depends on your use case, but just a heads up to check that before jumping in.
Been experimenting with free TTS tools but quality is hit or miss. Paid ones usually sound way better.
I love how some of these services let you customize voice speed and pitch. Makes it feel more personalized.
Anybody tried these for audiobook narrations? Wondering if they hold up for longer listens.
Do any of these allow saving custom voice profiles? Like training on your own voice?

One thing that bugs me is the robotic pauses some of these TTS engines have. Even the best voices sometimes feel off because they don't get the rhythm of speech right.
Sometimes I use these tools just to proof my scripts by ear before recording. Saves so much time catching awkward phrasing.
Has anyone found a tool that's easy to use for beginners? Some interfaces are just way too complicated for a quick project.
Does anyone else feel like the voices get better every month? Feels like AI is improving fast!
